WCA 25th Anniversary Annual Worldwide Conference

After a break of three years, due to COVID, OV Logistics Group is delighted to join the WCA First Members Conference held in Singapore from 2023 18-22 February. The Group, comprising members from its Singapore, Myanmar, Vietnam and Cambodia branches, and led by Group General Manager, attended the Conference and One-to-One meetings held at the Singapore Sands Expo & Convention Centre (Marina Bay Sands). We were grateful for the meetings where we reconnect with our old friends and establishing new business partnerships. We have an extraordinary event where we met over 400 partners over the One-to-One meetings, giving us the opportunities to expand our network and promoting our services to new and existing partners.

32nd AFFA CONFERENCE AND GENERAL MEETING

Representative from OV Logistics (a member of the Phee Group of Companies) attended the ASEAN Federation of Freight Forwarders Association (AFFA) 32nd Conference & Annual General Meeting together with the Chairman of MIFFA and its delegation Group from 9th December 2022 to 11th December 2022 in Vientiane, Laos. In the meeting, OV Logistics Group will continue with its plan to expand in the region. OV Logistics believed that extending its service reach to Laos will benefit and improve service needs by its global customers looking for freight and logistics solutions within the Indo-China region.

Singapore Airlines Top Cargo Agents Award

OV Logistics (Myanmar) Ltd was again awarded Singapore Airline’s Top Cargo Agent Award. The FY 21 /22 annual awards ceremony was held at the Pan Pacific Hotel, Yangon, Myanmar on 13th September 2022. MANAGEMENT TRAINEE PROGRAM

Since 1993 Phee Group has been operating in Myanmar and most established Group in the Shipping Agency, NVOs Operation, Global Freight Forwarding Logistics, Supply Chain and other diversified local business sectors Phee Group is now offering a management trainee program for fresh graduates who wish to embark on a career in the logistics industry.  This is one year structured, rotational, career development program that provides you with opportunities to work and cross train in various departments within the Shipping and Freight Management, Transportation, Contract Logistics and Supply Chain Industries. It will also provide you with solid grounding in relevant industrial knowledge, management and leadership skills and set a strong foundation for you to develop your professional career with us.  The Program will commence in Feb 2021. PCL Successfully Passed ISO/HACCP/GMP Audit

Since certified in 2017, PCL has since successfully passed all previous three (3) audits. Most recently, for the third year consecutively, we successfully passed our ISO/HACCP/GMP audit and achieving ZERO non-conformance and observation! PCL Operation & Quality Committee team, with support from the Group HR & IT departments, worked tirelessly to achieved this. PCL is committed to serve our customers with the highest quality standard in handling Products & Services entrusted to us. Our Facilities (Cold & Dry storage) also received the recognition and certifications from Ministry of Fishery (MOF), Fire Department, & Myanmar Customs Department (Public Bonded Warehouse).

Bonded Warehouse Program (Public) Working Committee Meeting

Phee Central (PCL), a member of the Phee Group of Companies, hosted another round of bonded warehouse working committee discussion on 25th July 2020 at its Logistics Centre in Yangon. The meeting was led by U Nay Lin Aung, Director & his team of senior officers from the Custom Department. PCL was represented by Group General Manager, Mr Collin LIM, Logistics Group Head of Business Development, Mr Jonathan Chih and Bonded Warehouse Program project members from the Phee Group. The meeting was another follow-up discussion on the Bonded Warehouse Program SOP and PCL WMS system. As the potential pilot site for the first Bonded Warehouse Program (Public) in Myanmar, both parties are committed to design a SOP and Management System that is able to control and track the movement of bonded goods in/out of PCL facility. Bonded Warehouse operations will enhance greatly the productivity and cash flows management for the inventory storage of spare parts logistics, raw materials for exported oriented manufacturing and vendors managed inventory (VMI) for high value, high tech sectors.
